As this year, 2022, comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on the joys and successes of this past year with love and peace in my heart. Dave and I enjoy rereading our travel logs (both online and in notebooks) from the past year as a means of gathering our gratitude list. It is good to revisit where we’ve been and dream of where we’ll go next. In this entry, I am sharing some of the highlights from Consciousness Caravans’ first year.

First Trip to Isla Blanca – January 2022

We closed out 2021 and opened 2022 returning from the East Coast in Gracie and taking a quick visit to Isla Blanca in south Texas. Our stay there solidified our desire to return and make this campground our first official one for Consciousness Caravans. Check out the Travel Log entry from January 3rd.

On our way from California east to South Texas, we stopped at Death Valley National Park. We will definitely be back there in the future. Check out the Travel Log entry from February 25th.

“Best campsite ever!” That’s what Dave said about our boon docking campsite on Magnolia Beach. I had to agree it was one fabulous site with many new friends and fellow campers to meet and visit with. Check out the Travel Log entry from March 2nd.

Consciousness Caravans started its own YouTube Channel with the trip to Isla Blanca. Navigate yourself to our channel, LIKE and SUBSCRIBE to help us boost our viewers. Now our travel logs include movies as well as pictures…Beauty abounded and new friends were made during our first official group camp experience. Check out the video from Isla Blanca on our YouTube Channel.

Returning to our home base in California in between traveling gave me, Rev Sally, opportunities to speak at the Oakland Center for Spiritual Living and reconnect with friends and colleagues there. Check out Rev Sally’s Talks posted in the Travel Logs: Reveal, Release, Rise; If You’re Happy and You Know It; and Failing Forward.

Mid-way through the year, we started entertaining ideas of moving our home base out of California to be closer to our daughters in Colorado, Texas, and Florida. The good news is it gave us a chance to do some clearing and purging. The other good news is that (for now) we’ve decided to retain our California home base and continue visiting our daughters in Gracie. We love any opportunities to travel cross country in our RV. Check out the Travel Log entry from June 6th.

We took an unplanned mini road trip over the summer to visit two of our three daughters and their families. We went on roads we’d never traveled before and found more great places to revisit, including Great Basin National Park and the Loneliest Road in America. Check out the Travel Log entry from July 11th.

In September, our youngest daughter, April, got married to her best friend and love, Alex, at a wedding venue that definitely reflected their love of camping and the great out doors. I guess you could say that a love for the Beauty and Wonder of God’s creation lives within this family. Yes!

As this year comes to a close, I am grateful for all that has come before and for all that continues into the new year. Our Movie Discussion Group (MDG) will be continuing. If you have not already watched seasons 1 & 2 of The Chosen, we invite you to join us as we progress through those seasons. The Chosen is releasing new episodes from season 3 each week into 2023.

In addition to the MDG, Consciousness Caravans will be offering classes to explore and learn about the basic teachings of Science of Mind. More details will follow in a separate post.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2023 Consciousness Caravans!!!

Living Life Consciously, we are vehicles of Spirit and Consciousness. Blessed Be!
