We received our final approval for affiliation as a Focus Ministry in the Centers for Spiritual Living.

The intention for this focus ministry is to organize, lead, and gather campers at various U. S. national, state, and neighborhood campgrounds and parks; to explore Life and the paths toward Self-discovery and Self-realization using Science of Mind and Spirit principles, practices, and tools.

Nature, especially as present in our parks, provides one of the most accessible and varied expressions of Spirit’s Presence, Beauty, Diversity, and Power. Road and camping trips offer multiple opportunities to be fully present in the moment, outside of our “normal” or everyday existence. They grow us. When individuals, families, and groups journey and camp together, especially when they stay overnight or longer, they are given an immersive way to really commune with nature and delve deeper into the meaning of life, relationships, and the Divine.

Consciousness Caravans provides camping based connections that explore: our unity with our Greater Good (God, Spirit, Divine Intelligence); the creative power of our thoughts; the interconnectedness of all life; our personal responsibilities for service; ways to enrich our sense of belonging; opportunities to share resources around the camps; ways to forgive past transgressions; and, ways to embrace, embody the beauty, nature, and love of God.

Through daily spiritual practices, workshops, hiking, service projects, and crafts at the campgrounds Consciousness Caravans will transform lives, uplift humanity, and actively create a better world for everyone. The long term vision for Consciousness Caravans is for collaborating ministers and practitioners to serve as Camp Hosts, leaders of camping trips, at chosen national and/or state parks for an excursion, a season, or longer. We look forward to working with CSL organizations, especially when they are an hour’s drive time or less from a campground, to maintain, build, and grow spiritual networks of campers, Happy Campers, who bridge and span what would otherwise be separated islands of geographically based centers, forging a deep and wide sense of belonging. New Curious Seekers will be invited and enticed to join our Consciousness Caravans along the routes and at each campground.

This morning we, Dave and I, met with new friends at the Contra Loma Reservoir to share and explore the ideas presented in the Coach to Everywhere teachings from the SacredDays.org website. The Coach to Everywhere is a metaphor that illustrates the relationship of spirit, mind, body, and emotions. This teaching has been a huge influence upon Rev Sally’s life, and inspired the Consciousness Caravans mobile ministry. Meeting in the park and sharing spiritual ideas and practices is what Consciousness Caravans was created to do. I am grateful for this glorious morning, the rich discussions the metaphor brought forth and the opportunity to be with others who are waking to their own spiritual magnificence and helping to grow a world that works for everyone.

Purpose:  Spiritual Mind Treatment for My Spiritual Development in the Foundations Class.

Recognition:  In the Beginning, God:  All Potentiality, Unconditional Love, Unbounded Joy, Everlasting Peace, and Overflowing Abundance.  There is only One omniscient, ever present, always loving Source of all being.  The One Mind conceives all things.  In the beginning, God created all that is manifest and called it good and very good.

Unification:  I am a Divine Manifestation of the loving thoughts of God.  I am the seed of God’s thoughts planted deep and nurtured in God’s Foundational Love.  Just as the acorn seed embodies the whole oak tree within it, I embody all that is God.  God is all there is.

Realization:  I know and accept that the whole oak tree that I am awaits my opening and awakening to it, and calls me to participate in spiritual classes and practices to reveal the truth of who I am.  I am joyously and confidently awakening to and using my God given talents and abilities to their fullest expression for the greatest benefits of myself and others.  I enjoy giving and receiving, keeping the circulation of God’s abundance flowing in, through, and as my life.  My life now expresses the fullness of God’s Foundational Love in many forms, including financial prosperity, friendships, community, service to others, prayer, and play.  

Gratitude:  I am so grateful for this awakening process and God’s Foundational Love, upon which this transformation has, is, and always will be taking place.  Knowing that Divine Right Action is happening now, I am grateful for the word spoken and the fact that my opening and awakening to the Divine Manifestation I AM is already done in Spirit.  

Release:  I let go and release this word into the always affirmative action of the Law, letting God be God, in, through, and as me.  I release, secure in the Foundational Love and Law that was, in the beginning.  And so it is.  Amen.
